Makes me a happy Nata.
Yarn porn is basically just beautiful photos of crocheted of knitted items. And even photos of colorful glossy gorg yarns just lined up ready for the taking.
I feel I need to make a ripple blanket.
Something bright and colorful and sweet and all mine. Unless I feel like giving it away at the end. Which I hope I don't. I made four blankets last year alone. Three were baby blankets and one was a queen sized granny stripe blanket.
Cold weather is perfect for crocheting and drinking hot tea. I've done nothing but drink hot tea every morning this past few days well reading a book and just enjoying the crispness of the cold and the bite of the heat coming off my cup.
There's something extra amazing about holding a hot cup of tea with both hands when you're cold. It does bring up the fact that its about time to start wearing hand warmers and arm warmers. Maybe just maybe its time to make a new set of arm warmers as well. Oh the ideas that keep coming to mind.
I can't wait to get home and be a happy yarn giddy girl again. And I need to go get some yarn to start that blanket with because I don't think I have enough right now. Maybe five new colors would do. Just what colors i'm not sure.
