Nata Blog

Happy Holidays!
I love the holidays,
being with family.
Kids running around getting hopped up on sugar
Sneaking them just one more cookie,
cause they aren't mine,
and I don't have to deal with the sugar rush.
Plus that makes me the cool Aunt.

I spent three weeks in Buffalo with Logan.
He is a sweetheart.
I got to see Emily on Thanksgiving.
And once I came home,
we went shopping for Christmas dresses. And Danielle had her holiday pageant.

They sang lots of fun songs..
And then we got to go see their artwork.
Love that Danielle picked a Dolphin to guide Santa's sleigh.

Well in Buffalo I did make a couple things.
The Aphrodite Shawl from Caron.
I love it even though it isn't what I had planned to make.

And the Lapa by Caron.
Which I plan to wear on Christmas.
With a black belt.

When I came home I used my leftovers to make another scarf.
A Luna Lovegood scarf for that matter.
Its soft and airy, yet it keeps me warm like crazy.
And of course I made some decorations for the tree.
It's not as decorated as we usually do but its very pretty anyways. Some close ups of the ornaments I made this year.
An awesome snowflake.

A star

A bauble.

And a Granny tree.

And this is the look on my face when I went outside.
Cause this is what my yard looked like.
And I absolutely love it.

Wishing you and yours a great holiday.
Til Next Time.

I've been in Buffalo, and will be for a bit longer.
Spending time with my nephew and my brother and his girlfriend.
Its been very nice.

Though I will admit its the first time in a year i've actually slept in a bed again.
Which is honestly by my choice.
I can't sleep in the middle of the bed I never could.
So its slightly depressing that there's all this empty space next to me.
It makes me miss him a bit, but not enough to really matter.

Christmas is coming!
I can't wait to be with everyone.
It'll be fun. Being with family has become more and more of something I really enjoy.
Gift shopping on the other hand is always hard seeing as I never know what to get anyone.

Ah well til next time.
